ITINERARIUM FOUNDATION
The Itinerarium Foundation was born in 2007, when a group of senior professionals with extensive experience in socio-educational projects in both Spain and Latin America came together to share a common vision.
The group was led by Narcís Vives, founder of the iEARN-Pangea network and director of the Atlas of Diversity project — a role that led to his recognition as a fellow of the global Ashoka organization.
In 2010, we officially became a foundation with a clear mission:
TO DEVELOP PROJECTS THAT IMPROVE EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL PROCESSES.
Anna Vives Typeface
Anna Vives, a young woman with Down syndrome, created her own typeface — a unique font that can be used in any word processor like Microsoft Word, Canva, etc.
It is the first social typeface in history, designed to raise awareness and promote inclusion worldwide.
Anna’s initiative, which also aims to represent an entire community, was born with a clear purpose: to promote social equality and the value of teamwork by combining abilities.
She began developing the typeface with a small team in September 2011, and just one year later, it was fully digitized and ready for use worldwide.
Today, Anna Typeface has been downloaded over 15 million times across 80 countries, and has been used by organizations such as FC Barcelona (Messi, Aitana Bonmatí), River Plate, Geox, Yamaha, Universidad Católica de Chile, and the World Swimming Championships to raise awareness and inspire change.

The Craziest Company in the World
The Craziest Company in the World is an inclusive web series created by Fundació Itinerarium to promote equality and visibility for people with disabilities.
The series features inspiring stories of individuals with diverse abilities who, alongside celebrities like Pope Francis, Andrés Iniesta, Ferran Adrià, Aitana, Dulceida, Kilian Jornet, and Vicente Del Bosque, take on creative missions to bring joy and social awareness.
Their motto: "Return happiness to those who have lost it."
Building Futures
Building Futures is a joint initiative by Fundació Itinerarium and the Noima New Opportunities School to offer a more equal future to young people who have dropped out of the education system, by connecting them with technology.
Launched in collaboration with La Fageda Foundation, the City Council of Olot, and supported by the Secretariat for Digital Policies of the Government of Catalonia, the project targets youth aged 14 to 24 who are not currently in education or employment. It helps them acquire the 12 essential skills for the 21st century.
At the heart of the initiative is a clear mission:
to empower youth through technology, motivation, and confidence, so they can build a future with equal opportunities.
Since its creation in 2022, Noima has supported over 300 young people, with 167 students currently enrolled in the 2024–25academic year.
Inclusive Circuits
The Inclusive Circuits in Nature project by Fundació Itinerarium aims to improve quality of life by promoting walking and running — especially among people who face greater difficulties.
What makes these circuits unique is that they are permanently signposted, inclusive, and adapted for everyone. They are available in various towns and cities, helping to make sport and nature accessible to all.
Inclusive Football
Inclusive Football is a methodology developed by Fundació Itinerarium where young people with and without special needs train and play football together within the same club structure.
This approach promotes inclusion, teamwork, and equal opportunities through sport.
In 2017, we organized the first-ever Inclusive Barça–Madrid match in history, a milestone moment in inclusive sports.
Farmlab Rupit
Farmlab Rupit (2020) is a rural innovation center created to prevent depopulation and promote a vibrant life in the countryside through the use of new technologies.
Known as the “El Bulli” of rural innovation, Farmlab Rupit hosts the annual Farmlab Week, a unique gathering that explores the future of rural life and aims to restore the urban-rural balance worldwide — a critical mission in a world where 80% of the population lives in cities.
